New York City: Studies of Place
This body of work explores New York City through space, structure, and scale. Rather than centering individual subjects, these photographs are guided by light, geometry, rhythm, and the quiet moments that exist within the built environment.
People may appear within the frame, but they function as markers of movement and scale — secondary to the presence of place itself. The city becomes the subject, shaped by time, architecture, and the patterns of everyday life.
Taken together, this work reflects an interest in how place holds memory, tension, and stillness, even in constant motion.
